BVF lists indexable U drills in 75 diameters from 13 mm to 50 mm, in 0.5 mm steps, each in 2D, 3D and 4D lengths. The table below gives the price of every size and length before GST, as on 8 October 2026. Each diameter links to its product page, which always shows the current price.

What 2D, 3D and 4D mean

The D figure is the drilling depth as a multiple of the drill diameter. A 20 mm U drill in 2D drills up to about 40 mm deep, in 3D up to about 60 mm and in 4D up to about 80 mm. The full explanation is in U drills: what 2D, 3D and 4D mean.

How to choose

  • Diameter: the hole size you need.
  • Length: take the shortest length that reaches your hole depth. A shorter drill is stiffer.
