BVF lists both HSS and TCT items at 16 mm, 19 mm and 38 mm. The type column distinguishes those separate products. BVF describes HSS as high-speed steel and TCT as tungsten carbide tipped; neither type name supplies an arbor size or cutting depth.

What to check

  • Match the required hole size to the titled size. The HSS 1-inch item is listed as 25.40 mm; the TCT item is listed as 25 mm.
  • Confirm the arbor or mounting required for the exact cutter, including whether the arbor and pilot drill are supplied.
  • Confirm usable cutting depth against the workpiece thickness.
